SYPIN at a glance
Project SYPIN is aimed at design and implementation of a complete system for processing and interpretation of data for the purpose of Structural Health Monitoring. Solution incorporates novel methods for data preprocessing, feature extraction, decision algorithms and decision fusion, which allow for autonomous feature extraction and selection for the purpose of damage detection and localization in variable environmental conditions. The system is flexible and versatile which is proven by its simultaneous application to Guided Wave-based monitoring and Condition Monitoring.
One of the most important achievements of the project is the recommendation system that allows for autonomous choice of data preprocessing, feature extraction and classification method to maximize final efficiency of the solution.
